we simplify sports analytics
Belief #1
Big data predicts obvious outcomes in sports; it's too predictable.
Belief #2
There are too many people writing predictive equations, models, and algorithms using the same stats.
Belief #3
The gap is qualitative analytics - the ability to see performance changes before anyone else.
who we are...
Meet Dr. Amy....
I'm a high school dropout. That's the most important thing to know about me. I do things differently and it works!
My talent is that I can see human performance in a unique way; I always have been able to and that's what got me started in biomechanics.
I've served as leadership to develop college-level sports analytics programs, worked with team trainers and Vegas sportsbook analysts and players to create an easy entry point into qualitative analytics for YOU.
I also hold a PhD from a new Ivy league university, the University of Texas at Austin. I've been a professor at Florida State University (Go Noles!), and most important - I love weight training rooms and the type of people in them!
I'm passionate about NCAA football. I love teaching. I love helping people with the knowledge that I have, and I LOVE Las Vegas.

...we offer live and recorded learning events to show you how to easily predict sports outcomes and player success using simplified qualitative analysis in real time...
how?
...we combine your love of sports and knowledge of the training room with real-world analysis from NCAA football and professional boxing to create a relatable, fun learning experience...
why?
- I believe everyone should have easy access to simplified academic content.
- Create an easy entry point for everyone.
- A 4 YR degree in sports analytics costs around $140,000; MS degree is another $40,000.
- BUT there's only about 200 jobs total in writing equations and analyzing data for sports teams.
- PLUS, there's 100's, maybe 1000's, of people (and machines!) writing equations.
- The need is in interpretations and that takes qualitative analytics knowledge not taught in academics! I've got you covered.

"Dr. Amy Ashmore's teaching style was truly exceptional. Her approach was organic, making the subject matter come to life with real-world examples. Every lecture was engaging and captivating, and I've never learned more from any other teacher. Without a doubt, she was the best instructor I've ever had and she made me feel excited to attend classes and ACTUALLY learn and retain the information.
Marissa Berger, Assoc. Territory Mgr., Eli Lilly
“I have been privileged to have a professional association with Dr. Ashmore for the past 10 years, during which time she has impressed me with her unique ability to effectively bridge the gap between the scientist and the practitioner.”
Cedric X. Bryant, PhD, President & Chief Executive Officer, American Council on Exercise
"Amy is an extremely effective and well-respected leader. As Program Director, she set clear and realistic expectations and worked tirelessly to help her faculty excel. As a result, the program flourished under her leadership. She united the faculty within our group, respected everyone’s concerns and worked to create the best possible working environment. She welcomed working with people from all disciplines and was a unifying force. I feel fortunate to have worked under her guidance and am a better faculty member as a result."
Kristin Ondrak, PhD, Associate Professor, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill
"Amy Ashmore is a superb educator, whose enthusiasm for her subject matter bubbles over and reaches everyone in a room. Amy has been writing and presenting for IDEA since 2002. She can get a fitness professional audience more engaged in the topics of biomechanics and physics than you could ever dream possible! She is an intelligent professional and creative teacher, as well as a generous and delightful human being."
